are epics attainable in this version

wondering if epic weapons/items in the monks case are attainable in this version?

The Epics from Live don't exist on SoD. The same goes for every other Live item that exists.

I think Shamans have an epic quest in place. There were plans for implementing the other epics eventually I believe. Wiz's goal was to have epics not be weapons, but some item that could last you.

Clerics had an epic shield that was taken out of the game, with clicky rez (See Icarium, Brandy, Zinaire). Shamen have a face epic that is currently working (see Xikzasil). Sunflame (25/20 1hs) is the paladin epic (dont think its in at the moment though, see Aratar when he has it equipped - not the 55/40 2hs). Ytrazliarch is IMO a semi epic for Warriors/Rangers but in no means a real one (see Coltaine, Linken, Aeran). Other than that there are no epics that I know of.

Oh and the ranger epic is going to be a bow
