There are plenty of threads to complain in, and I have complained in some of them too. But I was thinking about all of the changes to SoD over the years, some which we take for granted which make our lives 900 times easier, and I felt that the GMs, Devs and Admins get a lot of shit and not much thanks for a lot of hard work. I'm not excluding myself for being ungrateful at times either! So here's a list of things I think we should all remember and be thankful for... feel free to contribute your own things:
(in no particular order)
1. Ranger /cm autofire
2. Ranger pets
3. Bard dual wield instruments in secondary
4. Pets that don't die when invis'd (oh god that used to SUCK) or when zoning
5. Mana regeneration during DFX (or is it no mana loss when rezzed? either way)
6. SB spells stick to newly summoned pets (this is friggin' awesome)
7. The recent buff timer check... KICKASS
8. Recent lengthening of buff durations in general
9. Group shrink for Beastlords
10. Aesthetic changes for BST pets
11. Warrior supercool stance changes
12. Druid HoTs... Excellent way of diversifying the class
13. Cleric nukeheal spells
14. I actually like the changes to resists and think they make more sense
15. Increase to things that don't see through Rog invis
16. GoG change to SB - and the fact that it doesn't overwrite illusion buffs
17. NPC Buffbots... personally never need to use them but this is pretty killer for noobs
18. Druid Murk pet. Good dps vs terrible health is again a great way to fill a gap, not tread on toes as far as making druids cool (throw in here the change to relic DoT too... BEEEEEEES)
I know I have missed out a huge load but yeah, these are just some of the things that are damn awesome, so thank you to all the staff. I am sure there are changes from before I started playing that deserve mention too. I totally forgot about when pets used to poof on invis, the RAGE that used to cause against Bards especially xD
Again... The forum is pretty much 99% nagging, complaint, fix this threads. So if this thread inspires you to complain, go find the appropriate thread and try to think of something positive to put here
