Anyone else experiencing this?

Last night and the night before, I was fighting Dark Blue cons with the occassional LB con thrown into the mix. Though randomly, some of the conned Light Blues once vanquished gave me "This encounter was trivial to you and you gain no experience." But then I could fight another LB right after it and get XP's.

Now are these LB on the verge of being green and that's why I get the trivial message? Or are the LB's bugged?

yes I did experience this as well, killed a few light blues and received no exp. Certainly got a "whaaaa?" from me heh.

And in the reverse, I've gotten exp from greens before too.

Yes. I am trying to raise up a shammy bot to help my paladin a little and when grouped, I got the message when killing mobs that were light blue to the pally and dark blue to the shammy. I could kill mobs of the same level and get xp when seperated, just not in group. I am now levelling the shammy a bit more ungrouped with the pally watching his back until they both are the same level.

I guess one problem could be that if you have many AA's you would gain less exp on a mob, and if a mob is very LB then I guess you won't get any exp.

I'm not high enough level to acquire AA's yet, so for me that wouldn't be the cause.

Light blue mobs should always give exp though. The higher experience needed for higher AAs isn't a cut off on exp, it just requires more to get there. It happens from time to time. I've seen myself get exp on greens before.
