Another tier 1 raid mob thread

I don't want new items. or better items or anything like that. Tier 1 raid targets are literally farmed for cash and occasionally for the nublet friends ancient spells.

A tank and a healer with full ikisith bought gear can duo these mobs these days.

The issue i see these days is the lack of ancient spells. i know countless people that are fully reliced before they even get a single ancient spell. This is caused by people farming pp or people LOLZ killing the mobs and guilds just skipping tier 1-2 content all together.

What i propse is having JUST the Ancient spell drop rate slightly increased or a complete tier 1 respawn timer reduction like the adepts got. Maybe take off Platnium and lvl 65 spell drops from these so discourage pp farming?
 
This is caused by people not knowing how to get ancients not the slaughter of tier one mobs. I am the victim of permanently camped lenny but I can get as many ancients as I want at any time without any trouble of searching out low tier mobs. I agree low tier mobs are killed too much by people who rot everything but ancients are not a problem.

i had recently farmed the Elemental Princes of Fire in bottom of first ruins for Ancient spells.
Used Bard/Enc and Bard/Wiz .
for the 3 ancients i farmed, it took on average i'd say 7 clears per ancient.
which is real life time is a long time .. lol. seeing as they are 1hour repops

but if you do other things while ur camping them, it isnt to bad.
much better then trying to compete with everyone else for Dreadfang named and Whitecon Giants for sure.
 
The FR mobs are cheaty for more than just ancients they are super easy and huge secret of the server NO ONE GO THERE.
 
Also there is a mob in Miel C that drops Ancients who uses two black see through swords all the way at the back of crypt.
 
I remember jumping in the hole with Meso/Ringo, bringing a bard, and him wanting the bard to start lev song to try to land safely in the water, then for insurance getting Ringo DA to survive the fall. As I recall, Tarutao was not amused by this story. I think this might be a really bad idea.
 
I don't get why that would be a bad idea. It's not exploiting anything unless he never wants anyone to ever use that entrance(and I feel like there are other ways of doing that).
 
For a long time I or people around me used the bard thing, then I decided to start just jumping in the hole with my wizard and i've never used a bard again. maybe my constant lag is what causes me to land safely, but I dont remember actually seeing the fall kill anyone in there.

i also farmed ~800k off The Bloodfire Master using Xach and scummy t3 cleric/druids

Sounds shady as hell. Dev team okayed it. After my vision cleared, I shut up.

I probably log on and kill him while I sleep just to be mean.

Also, how is using bard lev to get into that zone entrance safely shady? I must be missing something here.
 
Probably because the zone prevents you from using levitate, so using a bard song to bypass that is kinda shady.

That said, I still don't see anything wrong with it since there are a bunch of other ways to get down there safely.
