Ancient Spells

Ok, I've looked all over the place and can't find anything on how you get ancient spells.  Is it tied into the MQ somehow?  I know ancient spell scrolls drop in raid zones, but how does one make that generic spell scroll into the exact spell you need?
 
Ancient scrolls drop from higher level mobs, but not neccessarily raid ones.

You need to have main quest part 3 completed (seeker rune) in order to be able to turn the scroll in at Apprentice Vaceth in Erimal.
 
And I believe every class with the ancient ability has 2 spells they can get, and when you turn in the ancient spell scroll it randomly choses one of the two to give you...then the next scroll you turn in gives you the other - you cant get duplicates from the turn ins.
 
That clears it up. I need to go do the next part of the MQ now. :dance:
