So I collected all the parts for this, came to the portal with some friends. We wiped, and thus failed. What now? Do I have to recollect all the parts and do the event over if I actually want to continue on?

For this quest any time thiers a turn in that spawns something, you want overkill. To much time invested to risk, Lag Spikes or other bad luck.
