an idea for a enchanter spell came to mind yesterday and i figured i would share it and see what you all think.
Spell "Gift of the Mindflayer" -
Grants an illusion style buff similar to Gift of the Giantkin that when in effect gives the player the ability to proc mana drains or simply gives mana drain based off damage dealt (Rogue stance 7 effect)
reasoning -
throughout the lower tiers and in some Experience zones there are mobs that are potentially dangerous with spells that actually have mana (The robed guys in pofrost or named mobs like Harbinger Nikord for instance.)
This spell could give the enchanter a utility style illusion to use should they see fit that would potentially weaken a mobs dps or healing ability.
issues -
needless to say...some mobs do not utilize mana and cast spells via scripts or other sources thus making this spell useless. that being said if this were to be implemented it either make it a lower level spell (around 30-55 range) or replace the dropped spell Illusory Sleight or some other barely used kind of spell. or jsut add it as a new spell itself and replace nothing
