Amulet of Newport for high level

There was a lvl 60+ bst killing every gnolls EVERY gnolls,.. my low lvl cleric couldnt xp, this is pissing me off and made me wish that i was given free instant teleport to warren or unrest. (boat? naw)

Since that faction quest went too thin chance for high lvls to claim Amulet of Newport (i dont know why bst is there killing, i have heard that gnoll ears dont drop for high lvl anymore).. Can't you guys put a quest somewhere that are designed for lvl 40+ or whatever and make it cause big faction raise, or some mob that actually raise faction to newport on kills. Anyway to make high lvl stop coming back to BB.
 
I was there a few days ago, and yes, they still drop for higher levels. Is that even possible to code? Or would it just be really difficult?

This problem didn't really exist until the ears became no drop. It fixed on problem, but created another.
 
This is being addressed.

Crops and Bounty tokens will now only take you to amiable.

Major Bounty tokens, which you get from Captain Ludwig in Nbadlands for killing liodreth, will take you to warmly.

Greater Bounty Tokens, which you get from Contractor in Everfrost for killing Everchill Orcs, will take you to ally.

Also meaning you will need to do other quests in order to get amulet before you can kill in Everchill.
 
kind of screws anyone not high level, though, as the only way they could get their port neck would be accompanying a high level friend, and looting the orc heads.
 
Maybe I'm missunderstanding. I thought you meant you couldn't just mass-pharm in Everchill to get the amulet - you actually had to go through the progression, and finish each step. That wouldn't really make sense, though, so I'll just shut up.
 
That was a very confusing line.

I think what he's getting at is you have get up to warmly before the Contractor will take orc heads from you - and to get to warmly you'd have to first do crops/ears (to get to amiable), then liodreth (to warmly).
