Amice of the Golden Dawn trouble...

I recently fought through hordes of orcs to max my faction with the Darksun Headbands, did the quest to defeat The Tomb King, then fought through hordes more orcs to (apparently) max my faction with Darksun Master Headbands, and my faction is still at Warmly. I was given a suggestion that maybe I should have turned the crown in last, and that would finish off my faction level. (Have since re-done the Tomb King, and cannot turn in the crown a second time, as I did complete that quest, after turning in all the Darksun Headbands that I could, got the reward, and the faction increase) When I went to turn in Darksun Master Headbands, I recieved the last 4 I turned in back from Dawnlord Ghorlan. I tried giving him 3, 2 and 1, to see if it was just a little buggy...but to no avail, I am stuck at Warmly faction. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I decided to skip ahead, and have completely assembled the Shattered Dawnstone, so obviously I'm itching to max my faction with the Dawn tribe =)

I seem to recall only being able to do the mummy bit once, so don't bother waiting on him to spawn again.
 
I'm not rushing anything here...I find it impossible to get frustrated or impatient with the admins/devs on SoD (since I have no right to), but I recently read another quest issue that was bugged (don't remember at all what quest, or whether it was fixed or not) but Wiz's answer was just to petition for a faction reset, or faction fix or something. Should I just petition this and ask for such? Or is this a freak occurance on this particular quest?
 
I have done this quest 3 times now. All 3 times I killed as many orcs as I could to raise faction till it stopped. Then handed in all the Darksun Headbands from those kills. Then the crown. Then the Darksun Master Headbands.
You might've handed in the maximum amount of headbands. Did you kill any of the good orcs by mistake during all this? Also, I seem to recall it taking me about 60 master headbands to max faction after killing to raise faction and the crown. Have you been keeping track of how many headbands you have handed in? Just a few ideas for you.
 
I think it took me 93 master headbands (roughly, might have been 91 or 94 but that number is close) and the crown to get the Amice when I did this. I didn't do any factioning before killing the orcs that drop the master headbands for turn-in as the highest level ones were dark blue to me at the time anyway, so I just did them for exp. I'm not sure if there is a maximum but ALL I did was master headbands and the crown, and I did NOT do the crown last if I recall correctly. I turned in master headbands until I was able to GET the crown part, then did the crown, then more master headbands until I got my faction high enough.
 
Yeah, my problem is, that I have apparently maxed my faction out. I did all I could from direct orc kills while going after the lower-end headbands, turned those in until he gave them back, did the crown, then started doing the Master headbands. He no longer accepts them from me, but I'm stuck at warmly...it's really odd.
