i can log inthe game but i always keep deconnention when i try to log in game servers :( :(
here is the report From the dbg.txt

1.Version of Windows
Windows XP Windows XP perfessional SP 2

2.Firewall in use. Did turning it off give any apparent effect at all:

skynet Firewall. I have tried r allowing sod, no luck.

3.Router (If any) and firmware version:

speedtouch 5.11.

4.Type of graphics card/Driver version:

Radeon x600 mobile. Not sure on the driver version, its in the other post.

5.Processor type and amount and type of computer memory (e.g. Athlon 3500+, DDR PC3200 2x512Meg):

coreon 2 Processor 1.86X2 Ghz. DDR2 667 1x512 MB

6.Type of internet connection (if possible with ISP) and country:

Highspeed 1.6 mbps ADSL connection. china
7. Does logging on at different times of the day reduce or increase the error:

8. Have you tried logging on on another computer in your location or elsewhere

I am on campus so I share the connection with lots of other people.about 1000mbps in all but over 5,000 people in use get connection with 300ms~ 500ms latency.(usually 333ms) but that is not shardsofdalaya that is winter roar


9. Any filesharing background programs running or installed (please include which):

nothing important i think but i alway have these program on process
10. How long have you had this problem:

Since I try this eqemu. till now

11. Which steps have you taken to fix this:

i try to make the firewall allow the UDP but still have problem less happen than before now i can log in perhaps 1/10 chance but before open the firewall the chance may be 1% or below
and the connectin speed is usually 500ms or over and little time get 330ms(fastest till now)

Have you tried disabling it all together?
 
i close all anti virtus ware and firewall but still meet touble that mainly happened when i choose the servers .
i log in it usually show me 1017error but that dont effect me chose the servers but when i choose one i will get 1017 error again this time it make me cant log in the servers and it will return back ,  sometimes  get 5e error.
if i log in the servers,an error still waiting me that is the problem about connecting to the zone servers , usually gone link at this time and the time character swift from zone to zone .
  i used to play Game on the Company it also gone link when zone to zone but only few times but this is the only problem
    and i have try EQEMU before still only get that problem and only few gone link happened
(at that time i had keeping my firewall open) and the chance gone link may be 10% or less once in a EQEMU before at that time i was in school , school net master also use firewall and me too

I'm not saying it's impossible to play with a firewall, it's mainly to test if that's the issue.

You tell me. The problem is most likely your ping to the server.

Try nuking everything that uses the Internet, to see if that helps.
 
any way to make the connection faster?? like using some proxy or any other good way ?:keke:

No, proxies will only make it slower. If you're on a shared line, the issue might lie with the people whom you share line with.

I am having the same exact problem. I did patch live today and reinstalled SOD...possibly part of the problem? :psyduck:

Highspeed 1.6 mbps ADSL connection just for a computer none can use it except me

Have you tried from another computer in your LAN (i.e. if your friend brings over a laptop or likewise) or tried from your own in another LAN?
 
i think no problem with my computer
recently, i found new issue when i deconnect my ADSL and relog it will get different IP
some time its fit game but some time not
 
Different IP make a different gate way to here so proxy is useful. proxy can make patch shorter then before.(at first i need patch 23~28 gate port until arrive here. but using proxy i just need to path only 10 or less gate way)

Blame the technic in China I guess. If it helps you to get another IP, keep it that way, there's nothing else that would help. Except maybe moving to europe :psyduck:

P.S. can't be that bad since I see you online all the time ;)
 
that is because i need to keep  connect and disconnect until i get a good ip ,once i get a good ip it will work well
but the ip cant be keep long , once ADSL LD i need do it again so it's nusty ,
PS. ADSL will normally LD about twice a day some bad lucky day will greater  and i dont know how long i can get ip with ping at 300 the ping usually range from 300 ~ 1000 maybe just 1/10 chance to get 300ping :(  the if i work 1 hour but still cant get 300 then had to give up :(
