Perhaps now that the proc is insanely nerfed you guys would consider bringing back the heal crit part of the spell? It was op with the proc but now that the proc is gone I think more people might use it if it still had the crits atleast.

Really the spell is fine the way it is atm. Heal boost + spell haste is pretty amazing on it's own.

I can honestly say I have used this spell twice. Once when I first acquired it and once after the changes were made to it. It's somewhat usefull if I am not tanking, but if the tank dies and I need to get aggro forget it - even if I click it immediately I won't get aggro. If I hope to have secondary aggro over casters and healers I need to be building it like they are, throughout a fight. Therefore, I just don't use it unless I am soloing mobs that don't hit hard (due to the huge ac hit I don't even use it wen I solo most of the time).

Personally I'd like to see a completely different spell - I have suggested a self-only HoT before, say 400 mana cost, 400 hp per tick, 4 ticks, 3-4 second cast time with a 30 second recharge, doesn't stack with other HoTs on similar lines (EoB etc.). It fits very well with the roll of a paladin and might actually get used. It won't happen, but whatever. The spell doesn't hurt anything sitting in my spell book.

I would never use a self hot that cost that much mana over EOB...

I have used this spell a couple times even after the patch, and it is definitely still useful if you are not tanking.

If you would like to tank and have aggro and do tank things I definitely recommend against using Althuna's Conduit because it renders you unable to do these things.

Excactly why whis spell rots in my spell book. Thank you for making my point.

Why is the spell bad beyond the fact that it can only be circumstantially used? Do you really not see the value in the amount of healing power this gives Paladins if used correctly? An entire new dimension was added to your class through this spell and you're just dismissing it off the cuff. In situations where a paladin would not necessarily be needed for tanking he can still fill a valuable role in a raid due to this spell.

This is also good for having a multiple-tank raid (more common in the high tiers) and giving the paladin something to do that isn't tanking when killing trash mobs.
