Alternate faction modifiers for Centaur faction

Could corrupted centaurs possibly give +Centaur Survivor faction? Maybe 2-3 times the bump in faction you'd get from gnolls in Blackburrow? They're roughly twice the level of the bigger mobs in Blackburrow.

As it stands now if you are of a race/class that centaurs dislike and they attack, you, you may not know they are required for the good path later. I know some necros, shadowknights, etc may take the good path later in the main quest. What happened in my case is back in 2005 I was grouped with an SK and a centaur attacked us in WBL. As we wandered WBL we got attacked more. So we eventually started killing them for exp since we thoguht they were KoS type mobs. So what I'd like to see is a way to fix faction at higher levels that doesn't require destroying a newbie zone.

Similar to the wholesale slaughter of gnolls for ears for the Newport faction, this current situation leaves me no choice but to start at the top of the zone and kill every single mob in there (except piranha) over and over again. That's fine. I can do that. Collecting gnoll ears along the way works for me...but...I know people at lower levels want to exp there and there are few things shittier than a high level coming into the zone and killing every single mob there is. I don't like doing it, but if it's the only way for me to complete the main quest, I have to.

So please can corrupted centaurs give +faction hits. Maybe they can cap at amiable in order to not trivialize the mane turn-ins? Thanks.

Ahhhh.... why would shadow nights and necromancers want to be good? If you are good and partner with SK's and necro's then you should be prepared to be mistaken for being evil. Do corrupted centaurs choose to be corrupted? If yes then killing them should provide centaur faction, but if not then why be rewarded faction for killing an innocent. I think what is needed is a greater faction reward for killing gnolls.

I am good on purpose because it fits the background I have in mind while playing Luas. Besides that it is quite interesting and often enough challenging to roleplay an iksar necromancer that isn't evil by default.

There is quite some sense and reason behind such a decision, though I'll admit it's usually a RP decision.

Maybe you missed the part about turning in the corrupted centaur manes gives you faction. So obviously there is faction tied in with killing them. It has nothing to do with whether or not they chose to be corrupted. :-/

As for me being "mistaken for evil"...man I don't even know...all I know is we were like high 20's when we got attacked and my partner was being beaten on so I healed her. When something comes up and attacks someone in your group and you don't know what faction it's on, most likely you're going to help your group member. Honestly I don't care that I have to faction grind to fix it.

I stated my reasons for wanting an alternate faction adjustment above.
