alchemy skill ups

i was wondering about how many combines it takes to lvl up 1 on alchemy(say from 7 to 8) it says on the wiki that it starts at 20 combines but icounted atleast 30 and i still didnt lvl up....
.they were all non-trivial combines and they were successful......any ideas?

The number of combines it takes to skillup varies based on the skill level. Success vs failure doesn't matter, so long as the combine is non-trivial and not too difficult for you to make. I don't remember what it is at the lower levels, but by the end, you'll be doing 100 combines per skillup.

It starts at 28 and goes up to 100 combines per point despite what others have said.

it took me 30 tries to get to lvl 1

alchemy starts very low 30 as posted above but at the end i think its later then 28 skill that it takes 100 per point and this is why there are very few maxed alchemist on the server.
