Alchemy Potions

Please reply below with any ideas you may have to add or improve upon the Alchemy tradeskill. I'll leave the fancy potion names to the devs :)

Gate potion: Returns you to your bind point.

Port potions: Potions that would allow you to port to various areas, perhaps a potion for each city?

Massive Heal Potion: Heals 1000 HPs but has a re-use time of 72 minutes.

Stackable Resist Potions: Stacks with bard songs and buffs.

Cannibalization Potion: Lose 1k HPs for 500m (or some type of balanced equation) with a re-use time of 72 minutes.

Illusion Potions: Randomly change into the shape of a mob in the zone, or same as Enchanter illusion stuff.

Pet Potion: Allows you to summon a pet that will attack for 30 seconds or until killed unless you have a pet summoned already.

Posion-blade Potion: Coat your weapon with poison giving it a poison-based proc.

I would rather see the ability to poison weapons left to the rogue-specific poison skills, even if they aren't implemented yet.

Potion of the Dead: clicky Feign Death with a re-use timer of 72 mins ( one charge per potion )
potion of lesser/greater recovery: clicky regen type spell (lesser = 3 hp/tick) (normal = 5 hp/tick) (greater = 7 hp/tick) not sure if this one is possible. 30 minute duration and is affected by duration increment. -ish
potion of sacrifice: 0% rezz for any corpse cast upon....consequently it kills the person who cast it (just farm silks!! ami right?)
potion of guidance: summons a no rent no drop item that can be put anywhere in your equip slots and serves as a light source.

Those are some mighty powerful must-have effects for a one-class tradeskill.

Injek's suggestions are a bit more realistic, I'd say. :)

There is a gate potion to Grobb in. I havent made the potion yet, but I think gate to Grobb only. I will be checking it out within a couple of days. Recipe was gotten via a quest. I dont know the quest a friend sent me the recipe.

I think the problem and tendency with tradeskills, and specifically alchemy, is to use it to give all classes access to things that define other classes. If I could make up some port potions, I'll never need a wizzy or druid to travel ever again. SoW potions on Live made Druids less necessary for travel because Shaman could make the potions and hand them out... so who needed Druids for run-speed. Poisons are supposed to be the realm of the Rogue as someone else pointed out.

Things like Mana regen are good because, while they ARE the realm of Enchanters, and to a lesser extent several other classes, you can make potions with a lesser effect, so that it's still better to have the Enchanter there to cast crack, but if you don't have one, at least you can get a couple extra ticks of regen.

If I had a potion that could nearly full-heal me, one to feign death me, one to do DoT damage (poison), one to port to each location, one to rez me (altho the 0% would be nice just for getting people back into the area if you don't have someone able to do a %age rez), one to give me a pet, and a couple others then I could basically have every single class-defining power in the game... and all of it comes from Shaman... So Shaman now have the ability to make all the class-defining abilities in bottles and can sell them or use them... a bit too strong.

So maybe tbe mana regen one with varying degrees potentially.
Maybe the 0% rez (and maybe a 10% greater rez or something?)
Maybe a slower SoW if possible (would prolly require creation of a new spell... but wouldn't want it to be a like a full SoW)
Maybe stat-buff potions? (+5, +10, +20 for minor, regular and major potions, 1 for each stat, limited duration)
Minor haste potion
Thinking of it now, I think the feign death potion would be nice, since it's not likely someone (unless it's REALLY cheap to make) would have stacks upon stacks and use them as a method of pulling... more likely just as an emergency get-out-alive type thing.

...Before posting suggestions, a few asked about are already there.

Wow.. so basically every one I mentioned... well, nearly. Gah. Okay. Nevermind, I'll back out of this conversation then since my suggestions were even less powerful than what is there, I don't guess I see much other than tons of filler that is lacking. I mean, it can only be done by one class, and already seems to have more useful recipes than does Brewing. Sorry for crapping up the thread with suggestions that were already in game... heh, but thanks for the link :)
