Aged hauberk combat effect?

I have some questions on the harbo dwiddle quests in shadowdale.

I recently completed the quest for the Aged Hauberk . on the wiki and when i got the item it is indicated that it has a combat effect, but there is none. Might this be updated or an effect added considering it took an INCREDIBLE amount time to get the quest item.
 
That's just something weird with wanelo. Keep in mind the quest is intended for mid 30's. I'll be going over the items from that quest and others similar to it soon though to see what may need improving.
