As a Silver Crown who already got to Trader, I wanted to turn another item I haven't turned in to Historian Thomas for the sake of completeness. But as I expected, at the time the quests weer made it was not possible to turn in stuffs to a NPC if you went past his quest level. So I'm stuck with one of the Freeport nameds' tome.

I know it's possible to turn-in stuff to the Blackscale NPCs after getting to Warleader, although I'm not sure if it changes anything besides faction which is usually maxed at that point. Could it be made the same about Silver Crown ? disregard if it's really useless, I was merely thinking of potential alignment hits.
 
I'd say hang on to your items. I know that after getting the top rank in Blackscale I can hail the Warleader in OSM for a special message. I'd expect someone in Silver Crown says the same message.
