Advice on Necro AA's

I have recently finished the crit AA's (Casting Fury 3 and Fury of Magic 3) Runspeed 3 and Death Imitation. Looking for advice on what AA's I should be looking at next. I mostly hunt solo and some grouping. Raiding is fairly rare for me, as I maybe get to raid once every 2 months or so...

I was thinking inate regen, mental clarity, wake the dead, or festering curse....

Some feedback on these AA's and how effective they are for soloing and group xp would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Somun, lvl 65 Necro 39 AA's

Festering curse is awesome but you won't see it's full potential if you don't cast it on a raid mob with millions of HP.

Something that will help you everywhere is natural durability, and then uncapping your stats with heroic power and innate enlightenment.

Recession (Lifetape) and Imitate Death (FD) are a must have in all situations.

Mental Clarity is neat to have, Recall Minion + Pet Discipline are worth their money as well especially if you're pulling a lot.

Soloing is not to be underestimated for soloing, root-park a mob, slap Festering on it and yeah - pretty much set.

Innate Regen is nice to have but not really required, Charisma however is something you can never have enough off.

Every day I cry a little bit that I spent points on Dire Charm.

Also festering is pretty much a free (and funny!) kill on crystal wyrms in WW.

Is Dire Charm really that good? Does it last if you zone? What are the better undead to charm? The undead Pallies in FP?

I can certainly see where Festering Plague could get me some kills on mobs where I wouldnt normally have the mana pool to kill, and would lead to some very long fun fights, and it would certainly be good on Raid Mobs... Sort of leaning towards this one...

Recession would be a nice "get out of trouble" ability, but it has a long re-use timer...

Is Wake the Dead not worth the extra DPS?

Dire charm is BAD not good.

The timer is buggy and the pet dies when you have to relog for pl or zone.

Wake the dead is certainly nice as free mana-less dps but its probably more of a toy than a tool. (Get it if you group in HHK much... "ADDS!!")

Vampiric Lore is awesome to crit your lifetaps and I think you should go for that first. Festering Curse is awesome for those times when you do have more mobs than you can handle mana-wise - just root, snare, and curse, but it stops when you FD.

The crit chance on Vampiric Lore is abysmal. Will go a bit into detail about everything else later since I'm at work but Dire Charm is quite useful - when you know where, when and how to use it.

Since you will lifetap often (to me it's still better dps than cryotoxin because of partial resists and only partial crits) Vampiric lore will be useful.
Wake the dead is nice really, recast is short enough for it to be useful.
Otherwise I saw u were leaning towards Mental clarity, mana regen always handy.
No-fizzle AAs are neat too !

Compared to everything else my LT's crit way less then Dots but yeah - pretty much something personal you'd have to decide yourself.

DC has the already mentioned drawbacks but there ARE certain areas where it can be more then handy even tho' it'll wear of upon zone/LD. Nothing I'd get before most other stuff is done but keep in mind that some mobs in Rust and Highkeep have been changed to fit Necro Dire Charm. Festering Curse is an awesome solo AA, yet it will be very useful on certain raidfights since it scales up nonstop and doesn't wear off.

Recession is some sort of "Oh shit" AA but yeah - 1.5k instant LT that costs 0 mana is nice, even with the recast.

Wake the dead is some DPS toy and can also be quite handy for pulling - Necros have very, very few AA's that aren't usable tbh.

I forgot the no-fizzle AAs that INT casters get, they're seriously awesome, although you might be able to buy something a little better for the AAs it costs if you've only done a few. (30 total, between the two skills, iirc) I can't stand playing stupid healers though because they don't get it.
