Ok! I am getting excited! How about you all?! I started a new thread to ensure maximum coverage! Today I will release more details about the contest, as well as an updated item list to get all psyched up! So if you have any friends you have been thinking about suggesting SoD to.. now's the time!
Here is the details about how the contest will be run. A mob drop item will be announced, for this example, I will use snake egg, but don't go collecting snake eggs, because I promise you, thats not what I will be suggesting. The item will drop off low level mobs, so you don't need to be a specific level to stand a chance. The items will drop off level 1-3 mobs at least. You may be able to get them from other mobs, but I promise you will be able to get them from lower level mobs. In addition there are no rules as to how you obtain these items. You may buy them from vendors, players, etc. Use your begging skill on the snakes, and ask them each politely for an egg. Use the spell "transmute newport guard to egg". or any other crazy method you can come up with. The reason for this rule, or lack there of, is because it will be impossible to police everyone competing, and to promote as much fairness as possible. You do not need to register for the contest before it begins, so if you come late you may still participate (check forum for item to be collected.) The time the contest ends will be announced at the start of the contest, as well as a meeting zone. Each competitor must be in the meeting zone at contest close, or will most likely be disqualified.
Each competitor, after being called will approach and hand all collected items to the designated person or people. Make sure they are from guild Moontree. These items become the property of Moontree, and will not be returned regardless of win or loss. We will discuss amongst ourselves, and make a decision based on many factors, the primary being how many items you have collected. Just so it is clear, this means if you turn in the most items, it does not guarantee you win, it just gives you a much greater chance. The remaining factors will remain secret, and will not be disclosed, as they will be used in determining winners in future contests held by Moontree.
*UPDATE* First off, who we choose as the Grand Prize winner will receive, in addition to a set of gear 1,000p!!

All donations to Moontree are anonymous unless specified otherwise. Just because a donor is being credited here does not mean said donor requested to be credited, rather then gave permission. We welcome all donations, and give away everything we are given, unless told we can keep it for guild members. Donations may be sent to Apleh or Pefla, should they already have the lore item you are sending, you may send to Malachia & Malachib (our bankers) Please send me a PM if you donate to our bankers so I can ensure I log into them; that way the item is not returned to you.
