Adding Shards back to EQEmu Login Server List

I don't know the entire back story of Shards, Wiz, and the EQEmu community. As far as I know it was a rocky past. However I have wondered if there was a possibility of working things out (if it hasn't been done already anyway) and getting Shards added back to the EQEmu login servers?

I don't think a server like SoD is common place in the community, and I believe it would draw in a pretty good crowd of new players. None of the servers there can compete with the amount of custom content, spells, scripted encounters, etc... that SoD has to offer. If servers like EZ server or P1999 can bring in 300-600+ people, I can only imagine what Shards could do.

I don't know if it is even possible to be completely honest, but It was something that i've wondered about for awhile.
 
the upgrade to 3.0 would have allowed us to rejoin eqemu, but we can't with this old client.
 
Really? I don't pretend to know the inner workings of the client, but I do know other Titanium client EQ servers in EQEmu login servers. However, I didn't ever look to see what version of the client, which is likely what you mean.

I was under the impression 3.0 was a dead project with Xardon not hosting part of the server, but I guess that wouldn't be true since everything (which would include the 3.0 progress I imagine) was moved.
 
3.0 is mostly dead for the time being yes, Kimmy has been busy/mia for quite awhile
