Hello all.
As a relatively new (and casual) player to SoD and to MMORPGs in general, I have been very confused by the use of acronyms in the game. For instance, "who is the ML?" or "JB at the steps" or "Do you need FoE?"
I've created an acronyms page on the Wiki and would like to encourage all users with Wiki editing privileges to add every acronym they know. I believe this page would be a huge boon to almost any player short of high end raid tier status; it would lower the learning curve and make the game more accessible. The page can be found by searching for acronyms or going straight to http://wiki.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php/Acronyms.
So far, I haven't had any luck convincing Rari (apparently the moderator of the Wiki) to allow a front page link, at least for a period of time, for exposure, nor is s/he, for some reason, willing to allow the documentation of common MMORGP parlance such as LoL, RL, ROFL, etc.
I would like to ask that all long time players help update the page, and that all beginning or intermediate players that feel it would be useful please comment favorably here in this thread. If both happened, I believe that the administrative staff would be amenable to placing a link to the page in an easily found location.
