About the patcher.. ?

Greetings..

Just found this amazing thing. SoD.. wow. As a long time eq player, I was pretty astounded to hear about Shards.. looking forward to experiencing it.

I do have a quick question tho.. will patching this game into my existing EQ directory mess up my EQ game? I would really have prefered to be able to patch into a different directory if it were possible. Anyway, let me know.. I wasn't able to find any info on this question, might want to post something on the wiki or somewhere one can find it..

Yes it will. If you are still playing live it is highly recommended you make a separate directory to run SoD in.

I assume you mean make a copy of the entire EQ directory and patch to that?
