After doing MQ3 with my mage all day I finally got to last part with my holy symbol and holy water in hand to give to Krij. At this point i was half asleep and just wanted to get it done. Targeted him and hailed him to make sure all responses and conversations were completely flagged.
Opened my inventory to to take out the items and give to Krij and must have touched my forward arrrow and my stupid pet stepped between us. Needless to say being that tired i did not realize i had gave my pet the items until I got no xp or response from Krij.
The entire neighborhood heard me scream and alot of lights came on not to mention i woke up everyone in the house. After alot of apologies I went and replaced my holy water which still gave me yellow prompt then went to Healer Craycheck but got no yellow prompt.
With no holy symbol I cannot complete the main quest which is vital to the game and my mage has alot of the items and pre quest done for MQ4.
All i need is a yellow prompt from Healer Craychek not a replacement and since the intended NPC never recieved the item shouldnt i still be flagged to recieve the prompt?
I dont want to loose all my hard work and a L43 mage because of 1 stupid mistake making him worthless to pursue such a great quest series any further. Other quest have built in ability such as ring quest to regain items lost like say re killing bandits or other mobs to get drops again. I have the holy water again would it be too much top ask for a yellow prompt to get my holy symbol back?
