If you just want the ph4t l00t scroll down to the end.
As many know there was recently a new zone added. A large force of players moved in and tried things out. After me and a few other casters do the insane thing and try to kite level 55+ mobs, people started pouring in. These are not easy mobs. I had a trash mob summon and flurry on me after doing a massive 9% of it's life with two nukes. He had around 16k HP, if that gives you an idea. Anyways, as we soon found out once we started trying to organize is that you cannot auction or shout in this zone. Note, this makes it VERY hard to organize a raid with people from Ruin, GoTW and the other guilds in attendance. Rarok was our maintank throughout, and we had 2 clerics for all but the final fights. In all probably 25 58+ players and 7 others at the peak. Injektilo (I am very sorry if I spelled that wrong) was our puller for all but the very end as well.
Our first interesting encounter was with Vi`Anlanth, an akhevan. Low hp (7% doing 778 damage 778*100/7 = 11114 HP) but has an AoE Feign Death spell that also does 100 damage. Now the first time around he/she/it would cast this basically every 3 seconds. The only time I could land a nuke in between them (feigning stops spells) was if I got up and cast right away (2.8 casting time). All of this getting up and down made the server LOL and almost LD everyone every 4 seconds. On a related note there probably should be a tooltip for when you feign. If you had not noticed everyone else feign and the spam of "XXX looks dead." you might inquire as to why you stopped attacking. It would also be helpful if it told you how to get up from feigning, which is oddly enough hitting sit. The zone finally had enough and crashed, luckly Wiz (<3) fixed the recast on the spell to a more sane timer. The second time around we pretty much slayed him/her/it/cheese (stunnable by the way). There was an idol that dropped. NEC/SHD Ammo slot or inventory 3.5 cast time Feign Death idol. Name is Tiny Statue of Ritual Burial. Not sure who got it. Sharpened Darkmetal Blades also dropped off of something, defaulted to Injektilo as he was the only monk/bst.
Another encounter we had was with a frog named that dropped Shan`Den and Sacred Chestplate of Malath. The breastplate is nice, but froglok only.
An Akhevan Conjurati dropped a Explosive Boulder. This was won by Elindrel, and wanelo does not show it's Focus effect of Increased damage III and a clicky low level dd(see image at end).
Finally, our feature mob was Ki`Fenrath, a big Ahkevan. We had 3 clerics in a 40 pause CH rot as well as a shaman, 3 paladins and a druid padding. Rarok along with 2 of the clerics died at basically the begining of the fight. I credit this to the new CH aggro changes, as we had two of them die from aggro. We were able to take him/her/it/cheese down though with Dari tanking and I will let the pictures speak for themselves. As you will note I am 2 nukes from being out of mana, not counting harvest. I could have mod rod'd but they make the zone LOL as we found out.. twice. The fight lasted around a minute and a half. Anyways
Thank you to everyone that participated. Here is a /who at the end of the raid, but I would like to thank anyone that did not make it to the end aswell.
