A quick question about Spell Casting Subtlety

Does Spell Casting Subtlety reduce the aggro gained from being in the process of casting, when the spell lands, or both?

There is agro associated with starting to cast, as evidenced by Rabb being eaten (consisntely) by starting a chain before the mob actually reached Linken.

Definitely.

This is not pure aggro, it's just AI reaction.

It would be very nice and sensible if the AI had to make a check against spell casting subtlety and subtle mez to take that action.

Or just make your puller stop before they get back to the group :) (or at least the casters).

good health to you all

This won't happen if your puller uses something besides proximity to get aggro. Or at least not as often.

It's neither of those, a mob will run and try and interrupt a spell if it's not locked by melee, just like caster mobs will try to stun you when you cast.

I think spell casting subtlety / subtle mez should give a % chance for the mob to not notice your cast so the AI runs to someone else or stays on closest target.

I don't think if person X has 100000000000 aggro and person Y has 0 aggro that it will run for person y if person X is kiting it and person Y starts casting. So I think Garluk is right.

If I pull 4 mobs with Khalid and AE blind, and attack one the others will still run and try to stop casting mez by maimai even though khalid has much more agro. They'll run back to khalid the second the spell is interrupted but it's there...

I generally begin to cast mez before I'm on the hatelist. Mobs don't try to interrupt me, nor do I get meaningful aggro from quickdraw mcgraw mezzes unless either I, or the tank, or us both do something dumb.
