a quick ? from a newb on in game conduct

Just a quick ? I'm a newb and will never deny this till im no longer a newb but i need input from other WR players. I sent an ooc tonight and i quote "srry 2 bug ev1 but can anyone tell a 11 sk a good plce 2 solo?" (not exact but very similar) This was quickly replied to by other ooc very rudely ie "go back to AOL" and such. While i try my hardest i have a mostly paralyzed rt arm. I just wanted 2 know if typing things like this are totally unacceptable or was this an exceptyion to the rule with rude responses? I will glady type everything thing out if need be but prefer not as it is very difficult. Any input will be greatly appreciated!

It is kind of rude... I go after people who make grammatical errors or purposely mispell words like 'teh'.

I'm the most politically correct person on the server when it comes to chat and the english language. If you're spelling with numbers, I'll most likely leave you alone unless you're spelling like 1337 instead of elite.

You will probably not make my idiot list. Sorry about your disability.

I missed the part about your arm and just figured you were a regular dime a dozen idiot who wanted to TYEP IN TEH COOL WAYES and was going to make fun of you.

Yeah, I'd call you a tool, and I would expect no less from others. If you expect no special treatment, that's what you get.

But, if I take into consideration that you have a right arm that doesn't type as well as people who are "normal", abbreviations such at the ones you used in your OOC seem not only fine, but warrented. In that case, I have no problem putting beside my qualms and accepting the fact that while it's painful to see, it's most necessary.

Not sure about assholes, but it seems to me many stand on very high horses. :mad:
 
The only reason I type in complete words, no abbreviations and as close to correct grammar as possible because it's easier for other people to read. Be courteous and think of the others. (sorry about the arm thing)
 
You guys all just better get used to it, because when the mobilephone WR client comes out, we're going to see a lot more of it.
