im a level 22 druid working on my fishing skill.....would it be save to fish in the towers of agony or would i be kos to the creatures there and also would it be easier to have a wizard port me or go through the mirror? i saw on the wiki that there was a guardian at the mirror to get past

You can only fish near the zone line, which is free of mobs. You will be KOS (unless you pledged), so don't wander up the hill.
To get in, either way works and puts you at the same spot. The guardian is for the mirror to go up to the next level on the right hand side. Go to the mirror to PoTorment on the left hand side and you'll be fine.
