What if you could take that 44/45 (droppable) 2hb you have rotting in the bank walk over to the aug vendor and buy a Distillation item for around 500pp and pop it in with the 2hb hit combine and get a +10/15 2hb mod?
I was thinking the amount of the mod could be based off of the ratio of the weapon or could be used with armor that already had a mod like High Paw's Hand, the mod aug could then be placed into another piece of armor (not weapon).
This idea seems like it would benefit the players and also be a nice item/money sink for the game,and flesh out weapon skill mods,have you ever seen a 2hb mod?
Mod caps are already in place so this doesn't seem like it would be overpowered,the system could also be tweaked so that the mod you get is capped at +5/10 per item.
One last comment, these augs would be placed in ARMOR not WEAPONS, I am NOT asking for weapon augs, also I am asking for weapon skill mods ONLY, it would be crazy overpowered if you could do this with +parry/+dodge etc.
