A freind of mine got hacked

A friend of mine got hacked while he was on a brake from the game and he can back to find all of his equipment (not no-drop) gone and all of his money. He just started playing again , and i was wondering if there was any way for him to get his stuff back. It was a while ago when he lost his stuff.He is a little afraid of dealing with the GMs here so i fiqured id go ahead and ask for him if there was any way for you to track item trades over a long period of time, so he could get his druid back to normal
