a few questions

Hello,

I played a few characters up to level 65 on eqlive around a year ago, and have missed the monk class a lot. I am thinking about playing on WR, but would like to know a few things.

What is the average level? Are most people level 65?

Can monks solo fairly well the way the game is setup? Is it easy to find groups at most levels?

How is the economy? Is it hard to earn items?

Are zones like TOV and kael raided a lot? Those were favorite zones when I played..

What is the leveling time like? I have fun leveling, but grinding all day to ding a level is something I don't have time in my life for these days. What percentage faster would you estimate? Do iksar have exp penalty?

Also, are the original eq encounters in the game? The main boss mobs, I mean.

Also curious, what's the hardware like for these servers?

Thanks in advance.

Most people are 60+ but there are many people below that, especially recently. It's not as bad as EQLive.

No, it's not easy to find groups, since there's only a max of 200 people on at any time. A lot of the time you'll be soloing, and bind wound to 100% makes down time a little less of a timesink here.

How is the economy? Is it hard to earn items?

No, not necessarily. You won't have anything for a little while, then you'll be able to afford some upgrades from the vendors. It's pretty balanced imo.

Yeah, they're in as raid zones.

Leveling is very fast until about 30. Even after that it's faster than live, until 60+

Nothing from the original EQ is here.

Also curious, what's the hardware like for these servers?

im really fucking drunk tirhgt now so i cant type more buth tanks

haha some of my funniest memories from eq were pulling raids while obnoxiously toasted. not far into velious, pulling vindi, guards, and every piece of zone trash on the way onto the guild at the WL zone in.. plane of growth for tunare, clearing the zone with like a dozen or so massive and nearly unsurvivable pulls..

and tov.. haha my wrists are damaged from playing too much or i could type an hour of good drunken pull stories concerning that zone.

i love raiding while tossed, i think it's a lost art.
