A few game breaking problems

Hi all. Have searched the forums but could not find a solution to my specific problems. The first problem I have is that in windowed mode, my x axis mouselook is extremely slow, it would take maybe 20 seconds to turn 360 degrees. I tried the /mouse command and the options sensitivity. Nothing affects the x axis.

I bypassed eqw so that I could try it in fullscreen mode, and that seems to work. However with fullscreen mode I have a new problem. When I alt tab, windows key or in any other way access my desktop, the game automatically goes to a maximized windowed mode and is unable to return to fullscreen via the in game option. I have to exit the game and edit the eqclient.ini file.

Obviously I can't really play like this as I frequently need to access my desktop during play for many reasons. And forget about two boxing >< .

I run Vista 64 bit,
8 gb ram
ati hd 4870 x2 card
logitech g5 mouse

Thanks in advance to any that can help.

EDIT: Oh and while I'm at it, is there any way to fix the flashing/blinking start-up screen during the intro/eula/login stuff? It's not game breaking at all as I can log in fine but it makes me a little sick to my stomach >>.

I've never heard of anyone who can fix the huge disparity in speeds between the mouse x & y axis. I turn with the keyboard. Sorry.

I'm having the same issue (although without the axis problem) and alt+enter does not return me to full screen.

Also, I can't seem to get my cursor free when I alt+tab out. And then later I end up with two cursors.

Thanks for the help!

So I remembered reading about dual processors behaving badly and I ran the patcher again selecting one processor (eqw also deselected) and then repatched it seemed to do the trick.

The two cursor issue should disappear when you click on the window. At least, thats how I handle it.

Also, sometimes alt+tabing to a new program after alt+enter seems to get things squared away for me when I have the no alt+enter issue. This problem usually only occurs for me when 2-boxing and I try to tab to a screen that is zoning. May not be your situation, but give it a shot and see if it works.
