Valadain - Idiot? who is the mage here you silly chanter. Of course I know about gates.. I summon elementals through them daily. and we both know they are extra planar. I am not arguing that it had to pe a portal, but I am saying that I doubt it was the same type of portal we use. I am quessing it is more along the lines of the one those so and so's agreed to have opened by the mass. It's old magic or a type of summoning we have no knowledge of. Much like athica her self I think. If we are right and she is a construct of some order not yet obtained by the mundane magics we have relearned after the fall. Even now we are only begining to rediscover the more ancient magics with relic and ancient spells.

Maybe that crazy sorcerer has some arcane scraps in his lab, but I am not going to venture there to find out. Or maybe the ancient dragons of yore might know something. after all they practice a magic that is also ancient. Theron seems to think, at least from what I can make of these notes that that silly kniggit got from the gnome, that there seemed to be some form of cooperation between those frogs and our ancestors in the guild. Well my guildmistress in south newport refuses to speak of felwithe but at least yours admits she is a refugee. maybe you can sweet talk her out of some info...
Valadain - If I could sweet talk her brother, information would be the last thing on my mind. Still I am low in the guild order someone of higher status might be able to get something out of her, assuming the powers that be didn't lock that information and not pass it on to those that made master or mistress of the guild. Lord Marluk in the Burning Eye guild halls might know something. After all he does have full access to the Libraries of Euridin, but he is so bigoted against those not of his race that I doubt he would share such knowledge even if he does have it. There must be others that might have some knowledge. People so isolated that the massacares during the fall missed them. For that matter, unless the lizards in their blood excasty burned the library in freeport, there might be something there in the books of lore. After all before the fall freeport was the melting pot of all the races
