50+ mage spells

I am new to playing a mage and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction ... I am wondering how mage spells level 50+ work. I know there is something in regards to components and that 60+ ancients can be bought/looted. Can someone reply with a link with more detailed information? That would be very helpful! Thanks!!

You can buy the spells in Erudin library.
Spell: Staff of the Magi is quested, you get the info in the same library.

I bought Ancient: Burnout Blaze when I was 65 with 20 ah-ahs, it's not very common I guess.
61 and 62 spells also drop in fished trasure maps, higher level spells drop form harder treasure maps or off lvl 55+ mobs. Relics and ancients drop off of raid mobs.

The best advice on 60+ spells, buy them as soon as you see them and can afford them. Magician spells are far too rare to pass up. I spent from 60 to 65 w/20AHAHs to get searfire, and I still don't have burnout blaze. The spells are hard to come by, 63 pets are very rare.
