I just came back to SoD today and I am unable to get my old account to load past the server select screen without always getting a 1017 error. To verify that it wasn't a connection or computer problem I then made a brand new account that works perfectly and logs into the game every time without any problems.
I tried deleting the eqclient.ini without success.
I am only running a single instance of the game so it's not a dual box or dual load issue.
This one has my stumped.
