* ok, I have my newest updated sound card drivers installed and speakers connected correctly
* my windows volume is all the way up
* nothing is muted
* in game volume is all the way up and not muted (or mutable to my knowledge)
* I get sound in windows and other games.
* I am also told by everyone else in game, there is supposed to be sound and that they get it.
* no other applications or programs are running while I'm playing SoD

However, strangely enough when I play SoD no sound whatsoever. I did a EQ patch upto GoD and complete file checked it and reinstalled the SoD patcher, and bin.

The only sound settings I've changed in game, was turning up all the game volumes after I've had the no sound / music problem.

Strange thing is, I had sound on SoD the very first time I launched it, but ever since I disabled EQW and changed video settings I've had no sound whatsoever....granted the 2nd time I logged in I had no sound while I was in the process of changing the video settings and still in EQW mode so this should be irrelevent. I'm stumped if anyone can figure out the problem grats.

Run the Options from the main menu, you have to turn the sound on (check off the box)

everything is enabled still no music / sound effects I even repatched Dalaya

By check off the box I meant the box needs to have the X in it, if the sound box is blank that means no sound, with a check, enable sound.

I figured out what it was by reading the post about the 3D character models...I had the boxes checked correctly, but because I clicked the NEXT button with the mouse and isntead of hitting enter like with 3D model enablement sound also stayed disabled thanks for the help either way =)
