Custom UI add-on?

Here's a screenie of my current UI:

Now, the gauge running across the top of the hot-keys is displaying AAXP atm. Does anyone know how I could change it to show regular-XP?

I've seen another screenshot of a very closely related UI (here) where the gauge displays both types -- half the bar being regular-XP, the other half being AAXP.

Either way is fine by me. If anyone would be able to help me out with this, I'd be very grateful =)
 
I'd recommend heading back to that website and looking for new "EQUI_PlayerWindow" files as individual files instead of full UI setups. A few of the ones there are fairly old and have both regular exp and AAXP. Hopefully you'll be able to find the information you need from one of those files.

The EQUI_PlayerWindow file is for the Alt + Y window that has the gauges you've mentioned in Bounta's screenshot and post... usually has your name, HP, Mana, and stamina/endurance/whatever-you-melees-call-it/yellowbar
 
Thanks for the tip, Tao. I've looked through all the interface pieces to find something compatible, but to no avail.

However, after looking through the lists again, I found one with a help file that gave me some useful info. I played around with the code like it said and it worked!

Soooo... yay! I now have two interfaces to toggle between: 1) wowport_aaxp, and 2) wowport_xp.

The UI in OP is the one i've been using for a long time. I just ignore the exp bar, but i LOVE having all my bags open at once
 
So you have to swap between them?

I have the UI that displays both if you want to just dig through it, and grab the correct piece. I'm not entirely certain what happened with the bar when lynne messed with it, I remember him telling me something about it, but not what.

I'll take a look at this a little tonight. The problem is that UI has a boat load of errors for our client. What I'm not sure of, is which window is causing the errors. If it's like the LFG window then it's not a big deal since we don't use that.. but the hotbar window is the one you're asking about and those errors should be fixed.

Yes, I have to swap between them:

1) /loadskin wowport_aaxp
2) /loadskin wowport_xp

And I sent you a PM regarding the piece to show both types of XP.

@grawill: The only error I've found (so far) is in the AA Window -- the + and - buttons to adjust the flow of experience into AA's or Regular XP doesn't display properly; the buttons *work*, but the number doesn't change for some odd reason.

Oh my... thats *exactly* what I was looking for a while back.

Thanks for the link! Imma check it out and (maybe) one day make my own custom UI :-o
 
Looks like the download links are all dead. I still have the original files (and they're working). So, if you want to use this interface, PM me and I'll see what I can do to help you out.
