Diety augments - how do/will they compare to eachother?

Heya,

I wanted to ask if its possible to tell us how the diety augments, both the implemented ones and the yet unimplemented will compare to eachother?

I haven't chosen a diety on my Main yet, because I am unsure how the augments which haven't been seen or implemented yet will look like. I am a perfectionist as probably many who play games like this are - so I don't want to screw my character by choosing a diety which augment then might be worse than what else I could have gotten.

I am not asking for exact stats here (I guess they haven't been decided for many dieties anyway yet) - but something like a ranking in augment power.

Something like this (just an example ):

From best to worse..

1. Tarhyl
2. Shojar
3. Marlow
4. Tarhansar // Gradalesh
...
x. Enthann // Jayla // Tarhansar (comparable to eachother listed in the same line)
...
x. Pariah // Divine Light

---------

I really would like to chose a diety finally, but it would be good to at least know somewhat how they all will compare. I would just wait but I also cannot work on a lot of quests like vah either because many of them have an aligment changes and if I don't know what my target alignment will be I'd rather save those alignment changes for later.

Currently I am completely chaotic/highly good (i think) so tarhansar would be my current choice.

Could you maybe also tell us in which order you plan to implement or update the augment quests for all the dieties?

Would really appreciate some info about this topic.

Designing them with this tierage in mind.

5. Tarhyl
4. Sivyana, Shojar
3. Marlow, Althuna, Gradalsh, Tarhansar, Shiritri, Sihala
2. Enthann, Jayla, Malath
1. Pariah, Divine Light

Currently the Tarhyl aug very doesn't make up for not being able to get the weapons, but is still the best augment in the game. Sivyana is higher than the others due to first ruins exp. While possible Shojar may jump up, his zone seems more a side path than the true progression path, so don't count on it.

Also it's not linear progression.

What do you lose by pledging Jayla & Enthann that makes them one step higher than Pariah & Dv light ?

Feel free to ignore this if it's A Secret, but will non Talodrians ever have the option to pledge to Malath?

How does he have slippers of sparkling ash? Thought you can't loot stuff from your own diety's plane (for the major of dieties anyways).

Obviously this was a gift from the npc who drops them for being sworn. Man, that tarhyl aug quest is WAY overpowered!

this is the final aug? For losing so much loot it seems pretty sad. :(

In Cyzaine's defense I am almost certain it has been stated before that once all the augs are out they will be rebalanced and he intends to improve the Tarhyl one at that point.

Having done the great majority of my xp in zones other than fr, the xp isn't all that much of a sacrifice tbh. I'd sooner sacrifice the xp than the weapons (as I'd imagine would most classes) and there are more than a few items from there that have no alternative that comes within miles of being as good. To name a few, choker of putrefied gore, shard of the burning, armlets of the bloody, jarldjarrimar (or however its spelled), the pants (both melamor ones and throes which are n2shabby), slippers of sparkling ash, etc. Though some of those have somewhat inferior, but close alternatives. It's more a focus game and alot of the tot items fit extremely well in most setups, where many others I've seen just don't.

Tot thus may be skippable at some point. But there will always be some very weak gaps in itemization. Caster necks and shoes for example. S'just how things go. Tot happens to fill several large ones just because it's friggin huge.

Tbh I wish the whole deity reset had waited until everything was banged out, for a better idea on what one wants etc.
