If I would be Wizzy I would permanently remove PvP, what do we need it for? The class are unbalanced in PvP, and EQ isnt about PvP, is PvM, so if Wizzy ever enables it in a sort-of arena, dont expect him to balance the classes, it takes ages ;)

At the risk of sounding redundant; PVP is bugged. It's on the list of things to fix, but it's not high priority. Frankly, figuring out why Mistwoods and other zones bug out and other issues are more important.

I was on SZ and VZ before coming here, spent my whole time on EQlive on pvp servers, and while I do enjoy pvp to a certain extent, its also true that pvp was incredibly buggy and unbalanced on eqlive. Pvp was always playing second fiddle to other bugs, and so pvp bugs would often last for years, even ones that were just totally ridiculous and gamebreaking(charmburn for one, those from SZ got to enjoy that for like 1.5 years). As much as I love pvp, I would not want to see it here on approaching a pvp server scale, or in any way mandatory for any raid or xp zones, unless alot of work was put into balancing it. Seeing that this was never done even remotely correct on Live, I really dont see it being worth the time here.

That being said, it would be neat if duels were in, so people could do it voluntarily just to goof off. LIke prathia said though, it was causing zonecrashes ad we have alot of other things Id rather see in or fixed before duels

well, on RZ server , i remember this one time when my guild was war wit another. Other guild would ghost / hacks and such but Sony EQ is to lazy to do anything about . I dont want this server to be a pvp server, but i just wanna see a zone JUSt for pvping , or at least duelin. Fighting wit friends is fun , and a great thing to pass the time wit =) brign back the zone "The Arean" =O ~~~! ur uber wiz =)

Server will never be a pvp server. But pvp'ing is definatly great fun.
