Fear Spells

I realize that fear spells really have no function at the moment. I was just curious if they are ever being planned on being put in. I also realize this has to do with pathing of mobs. I was just curious if there were plans to change what fear does or some plans to replace the spells. Other spells have been taken out such as Umbra, tiny companion etc. I was just wanting to know if there was a purpose to the fear line of spells still being sold

If we can find a way to get pathing and maps for every zone, which there seems to be some work to a program to work, then fear will go in.

Umbra (The AC line) was replaced by Illusionary Leather/Chain/Plate.

Tiny Companion, not sure why it isn't.

I have been a big advocate for the Tiny Companion spell for some time. I must give props to Vrulac for taking on the burden of shrinking everyone and everything on raids since I refuse to do so :D

Fear will be implemented as soon as pathing in zones are in.
Eqemu dev team is currently working on a tool to make .maps to every zone, when that tool is in you can add .map file to a zone and in that file add pathing to the npc's and then fear spells can be implemented.

.map files are for line of sight for things like AE spells and wall aggro.

Fear will not be in for a long, long time.
