They've implemented it on live I guess. At least there are lot s of UIs around that show it. Would it be a lot of work to allow us to see our mana pool?
Thanks :sadf:

We can't edit the client.

We're not current with live. That's why we download a client with the WRpatcher. So while live's client might have numerical mana (which i don't really like, Sony's giving EQ too many perks.), we won't for a while yet.

The UIs you're talking about is MacroQuest-enhanced UIs, which are not allowed or working here.

I agree completely that live is too easy and makes playing and leveling a joke which is not fun, but would you indulge my curioscity as to why it is nessecary to keep mana in percentage form and not hps?
Both can be figured out via formulae and I can't think of a reason for it other then to make casters practice their simple math :b.

From a casters point of view. You have the following resources
A. Wanelo, lists your base mana pool from items/stats/class
B. You see the % in your mana bar.
C. Everyone computer OS has a calculator built in.
so DUH, do the math. Why would you need to know the exact amount. Unless you can memorize every casting cost of every spell you have, in which case you won't need C to come up with your numbers.
