WR FAQ

I think that WR desperately needs some sort of FAQ that new people can check, to answer some of the more common questions that newbies have. Anyway, figured Id start trying to make one on this thread, and when its done try to put all the questions together and then some answers. So, if possible put some commonly asked questions you think shoudl be answered in some way on the FAQ.

1) Where do I turn in these shadow dwarf heads?

2) Do shared banks work?

3) I created a character and now Im stunned, wth do I do???

4) Is xp faster here than on live?

Any other questions you can think of would be appreciated.

If they can't figure this out on their own, they aren't supposed to be on WR. It's our way of weeding out the retarded from just the mentally challenged.

Coltaine : I agree with both of you, the answer to the dorf head question would be "talk to people in thurgadin" or something. That is the most frequently asked question though.

Prathia : Again, thats a really commonly asked question, I was thinking more along the lines of making fun of someone that has to go to a FAQ to find the answer to that :P.

actually, i am currently working on that Jiisu - you are more than welcome to help me out if you would like.

the only real thing holding me back right now is trying to get my server back up and running.

If the server isn't listed on the list then it's probably down for patch. If you want to keep up with the most up-to-date information you should idle in our IRC channel. The information is available on the main WR site.

The NPC that accepts the dwarf heads is pretty tucked away. I actually wasn't aware of him for some time. I'll see if I can't make his presence more pronounced.

It may just be me, but the NPC that actually accepts the heads dont tell you that he does. There is another NPC that sends you to him, and he as well dosent inform you of what you need to give to the NPC he refers you too. Of course, this may just be me ... I figured it out through trial and error who accepts the heads.
