I was wondering if the idea of having mage pets that could be a : rogue, monk, or cleric was still in development of if the idea was canned?

Also I would toss out a suggestion of possession. It comes from another game I've played where a magician could take control of his pet and see through his eyes. They controlled their abilities etc... downside you couldn't control cast while taking possession of the pet. This could lead to some interesting game play if possible. Just a suggestion

i think theres water pet in high lvl a rogue, and fire pet in high lvl a wizard..

necro 53 pet is rogue, necro 56 pet is monk

I believe that the spells to transform the pet into a Monk and a Rogue are still in the works...not quite sure though.

What I am sure of is that the spell transforming your pet into a 19/29 cleric or something of that sort was dropped.

Pets here are all warriors. The ideas to have mages be able to turn their pets into other classes has been put away for now, due to the coding and balancing issues it arose. Big issues. :)

What about the possibility of taking possession of the pets? especially with the ability to have pets go through zones now? Could make for some fun game play and I know I could have a great time Roleplaying this if I were to find any other ROLEPLAYERS in WR

Possession would be even harder, I imagine. Wiz couldn't get Eye of Zomm to work right, so I doubt possessing your pet would be feasible.

Oh yeah forgot that eye of zomm doesn't work. Good point. Thanks for the comments though

Pets do go through zones now...and i see a lot of people roleplay here.

Yeah I meant that since they CAN now go through zones that'd be a cool feature as for the roleplayers.... I just haven't been fortunate to meet many. I look foward to the chance to roleplay
