New Newport Monk Quest

I'm having trouble with getting Ezran, he doesn't respond to hails and won't start the test, and the text given has no [indicators] for a phrase to say.

I killed him, and the new Ezran responded to the hail. Maybe the quest doesn't reset after it's completed and he just stands around.

Which quest is this? I'm a newbie to SoD, and decided to start a monk. Currently level 19, I'm sure this quest is out of my league, but maybe something to look forward too.

Actually i think you are past the level for it. Hail the veela airdancer lady to start off on a string of quests. You can finish them all very early in your character's life, like level 5 even I think. Pretty good stuff and I even wore the robe that you get from the last mission up until level 29. Yes my monk is gimp.

Correct. The quests are primarily designed to help new players out and give them a selection of armor early on - most of it will be upgraded with the wyvernfang quest armor, obviously, but that's as intended.
