ETA on server migration to 0.5.5?

Please dont kill me guys...i just wanted to start this topic so that we can get some info on the pending change. Any info from Wizzy or other admins would be greatly appeciated, and would keep staff/user relations good. :)

so whats up with the downtime? ive gone to eqemu.net and didnt find an official post there. just lookin to spend some time ingame! (and forgive my blatant ignorance if its right there in my face, long day at work ;( )

I suspect 0.5.5 will be released this week/weekend. There are currently 3 servers running it, but who knows maybe next week/month.

i could have sworn 5.5 was out yesterday...i know you guys dont sit around and monitor your server like mother hens, but another status update would be gravy :D

0.5.5 isn't quite done yet from what I can gather... Shawn's test server is still, well, testing it and there hasn't been an official release yet. Personally, I haven't played on it yet, but I would want it to be a bit more stable before a mainstream server like WR migrates.

And with GW down right now, there's nowhere else for people to turn looking for some good legit eqemu.

very nice work on the hardcore updating Wizzy, so no rush on switching to 5.5.1 ;) too bad my friends are too lazy to play on WR with me, since they already patched and dont want to go through the teeny hassle to get Melvins eqfix :roll: anyways, keep up the good work, and im gonna go to bed now :P

0.5.5 can't be that unstable can it? I patched up so I am unable to play here and everyone keeps telling me this is the best server to play on.
