I keep seeing many sk, pally, necro, (all mana user)... but no Warrior / Rogue.. why?.. , they have no mana, and no hp regen to solo faster.
I would say if player choose Warrior or Rogue, they are given bonus regen by every 2 levels?
(example, lvl 50 regens 25 hp tick, lvl 60 regen 30 tick)
just a thought...
(alway hated eq live warrior / rogue hp regen rate... I alway trying saving money for buying fungus tunic if I start a war / rog or i'll have to sit in front of blue con mob and stare at hp regening slowly like watching grass growing irl)
Bandages are dirt cheap and you can heal up to 70% with them...

I'm honestly inclined to agree - you may be able to bandage up to 70%, but most people don't know that =\

The main disadvantage of pure melee VS classes with mana, is that the mana classes start with the equivalent of 255 med skill at level one. Therefore, anyone with mana can go hog wild casting, while melees, well, they can't.

bandages are cheap, and do upto 70% thats true.
i have a 24 barbarian warrior, bind wound skill is about 100.
to bind upto 70% from about 10-20% (usually whats left after a fight) takes almost a full stack of bandages, give or take. then another 5-10 minutes to regen the last 30%, thats on top of the time it takes to bind 20 times.
so even with bandages you still have to carry an insane amount of them, and there is still more downtime then any casting class 2X your level.

If you're losing 80-90% per fight, maybe you should fight lower level NPCs, the kind that you can take with just 70% HP. 20 bandagings... do you mean to say that your 24 warrior has 1.5khp?
If I do a quick calculation... if you have 1.5khp, and is fighting say, level 20 mobs, which hit for a maximum of 40 and occasionally double - their average damage output per round is about 30-40 - that means it takes you 1000/35 = 28 rounds of combat to defeat one - which means 14 ticks or 1 1/2 minute. As a 24 warrior with maxed skills, full normal platemail and two tentacles (No buffs at all), I killed a level 21 mob in 43 seconds, losing 55% hp in the process - 415 HP - which with 100 bandaging skill is roughly 8 bandagings if you could take it up to 100%.
The second time I soloed the same mob I only lost 35% HP.
Is your warrior wearing full draconic and two mining picks or something?

almost full quest plate. and just under 1k hp at 28.
mob difficulty raises way faster then warrior skill. at 20 or so i could solo fine, but around 25 it became not worth it due to huge downtime and unless i used another char to pick up some equipment i doubt post 35 would involve much solo'n at all due to mob hp & dmg increasing much faster then mine.
