Please consider this post:

Monk fist damage table (http://wintersroar.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1415)

The comments afterwards are deletable, but the number of times I've sent that link to younger monks is warranting of a slot in **THE TOME OF KNOWLEDGE!**

I always forget that the Styles list is in the Dev&Ideas section - can you post it here?
http://wintersroar.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1311

Also, could someone check to see if it's updated? I thought I remember the Ranger Twisting Edge style being replaced with some auto-parry style...

Thanks,

Sheck

I think this should be put into it

http://www.wintersroar.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=590

It's the list of racial traits, maybe clean it up a bit or remake it or whatnot.

Are there any Alternate advancment point lists? It would be nice to see all the possible AAs for all the classes.

Thanks

Sorry to reply to Duron in this post. But you can check the AAs by making a level 1 character and just go through each class and check their AAs. Not nearly as efficent as a list, but it is an alterate way of checking.

I know they have it there, but I think it would be nice to have it and the spells site posted in this forum. This forum is a nice 'one stop' place to check when I'm busy in game and want to find something fast.

Ya, it would definitely be confusing for people new to the server and forums. I think The Knowledge section, which is on top, should be used for that kind of thing.

I haven't found a list for this on the boards anywhere. Could we get a post for monk weight restriction here? On live it was:
Level 1-14: <15 No Penalty

Level 15-29: <16 No Penalty

Level 30-44: <17 No Penalty

Level 45-50: <18 No Penalty

Level 51-54: <19 No Penalty

Level 55-59: <21 No Penalty

Level 60: <25 No Penalty.

I have no idea if this is accurate on WR or not, but it would be very helpful to know...every pound counts to a monk!

Please add this: http://www.wintersroar.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=4253

Or, make a new post with this:

Healing Increment = increases your heals by 3% per rank (I, II, ... , V)
Damage Increment = increases the damage of spells you cast by 3% per rank.

Affliction Enhancement = increases the damage done by your DoTs by 5% per rank
Reagent Conservation = increases the chance your reagent using spell won't use a reagent by 5% per rank
Duration Increment = increases the duration of buffs you cast by 3 (or 5, not sure)% per rank

Bane Enhancement = increases the damage of bane spells (target only one type of creature, like undead or summoned) by 3% per rank.

etc. Most are 3, but some of the crappier ones are 5 to make up for it.

Thanks Melolwin

I would also agree that the zone connections map would be worth putting in the Tome of Knowledge. Either that, or copy the Must-Read Threads thread over into here, so that the tome of knowledge has links to things that should be read. Kinda makes sense when you think about it =)

Wiz, it makes me incredibly happy that you posted the instrument mods thread. However, I noticed that singing instruments were not represented there (for instance, Seraphic Voice: Blade of Angels that drops from the Hunter of Souls).

Was this an inteded omission, or an uninteded oversight?

TY!

Edit: I just noticed you did include Seraphic Voice, but under the percussion part of the list. The instrument itself says "Singing" on it. Is there some sort of disconnect here?

Thanks!

Just one more thing :D

| Dragon Skin Drum | Perc | 2.4 |
| Dancer's Tambourine | Perc | 2.5|

I dont know if this is a bug or the list is wrong, but my Dragon Skin drum has a higher mod than the Dancer's Tambourine. I can't say exactly what the mods are, because my Instrument Mastery III AA makes calculating mods difficult, but here's the stats:

Disease/Poison chants:
Dragon Skin Drum: 270 hp/tick
Dancer's Tambourine: 261 hp/tick

Elemental/Purifying choruses:
Dragon Skin Drum: + 65 resists (discounting the +12 to all resist stats on the drum, of course)
Dancer's Tambourine: + 61 resists

It makes little difference to me, seeing as how I own both, but in the interests of accuracy I just thought I would bring it up.

Uh, the Wiki?

ETA: I see the Warrior page for the wiki doesn't include the max skill levels yet. By all means, start editing it with what info you have. I found that if you take the first step in bringing a page up to date, people are quick to supplement it with all kinds of info.

Unfortunately, this is not the kind of information that the game developers want to just give to the players: usually tradeskills and the like are left for the players to discover as they work it out, that's half the fun of it!

For this reason, you'll probably not see anything like tradeskills guide put into an official centralized place like this.

However, if you're working on jewelcrafting, you can feel free to help edit the wiki along the way. I'm sure countless others will appreciate your hard work.

In addition to that, could a more comprehensive description of the deity system be put in here? The original B&D thread is here: http://forum.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php?topic=13742.0 but the OP is now inaccurate and was last updated July of 2007, and a number of changes have been made to the system and only noted in in-game MOTDs or IRC.

A complete and accurate post would be pretty rad.

For those paladin that care-
/cmd specialize Energy/Defense
--Increases the potency of your Damage, Damage over time, Heal and Heal over time spells and songs, as well as increasing your ability to absord melee damage--
It was commonly assumed that it added roughly 12percent.
After asking around I came up with the basic math to calculate the percent you gain from reaching 250 in this specialize line.
The math is not 100 percent exact as I did not round the numbers down when I did the math however it puts you in the ballpark with in a percentage point.
The magical number I found was 22.42 percent
If anyone wants to see the math I can post it. If you doubt me then ask Felyn as he is the guy I had a nice long conversation with when testing my numbers.
