I m seriously frustated by my uncapacity to follow the raids if more than 15 or so people are present, this is due to the fact that i only have a 56kbit modem and can't expect anything better before long. Living to far deep in the campaign :)
Even with all 8 filters set to 1, i get more than 50% of losses as soon as a fight start, and even get lag spikes if i m in Prathia's group when no fight occurs. That's frankly unplayable and i don't finish most of the biggest fights because i go LD :(
So, i m suggesting to add an ultimate new filter that would block everything that's not necessary for the EQ client. By that, i mean :
- I see people hitting the mobs which basicly i don't need to, i just have to read to see the MA asking to assist, i m suspecting that most of the datas come from this
- everything from filters 1 to 8
- full bard song filter
i know that, once more, i m asking things, but believe me, there's nothing more frustrating that not being able to finish a raid mob fight due to LDs, and having to ask the GL to re'invite u all the 10 minutes :(
