claiming account

now, ive claimed my accounts before. and i dont think i have to claim them now. but i notice every time they use the backup thing and say that people who claimed accounts can play i cant. im curious why it is that im always getting the bad name/pw when ive had my account claimed for about a month.
i asked about this in the announcement thing with no response. im hoping making a thread will maybe get me one=)

How do you claim your account? I havent done that and now I have to suffer.

go to www.eqemulator.net and go the forums and go to profile or whatever it is called.. go to login servers and claim account. if u already have it there. then u have claimed it. but it isnt on the WR backup.

WR is currently on a backup database for the login accounts. you have to wait till it is switched.

i have play xeni char one month ago why cannot login if it is an old database ?

Well I havent claimed my account so I cant play for now since the backup server is up. And my account is to recent to log in. So when will the normal eqemu server be up instead of the backup, so I can log in?

We're gonna switch over to a loginserver of our own within the next few days, should fix it for everyone.

Also, considering we've only been on backup for a total of two weeks tops, I doubt anyone's waited months.
