Hi everyone,

I'm in a sound mastering and editing class at school, and for part of this assignment the teacher wants us to (among other things) listen to these two tracks of Spanish opera and just google a few words in a row to figure out what opera it is.

Unfortunately I don't know Spanish at all, and the style of singing makes it difficult for me to try to sound out words and google them to see if they are real. So if someone who knows Spanish could let me know a small phrase of words, that would be really useful. Thanks :)

Here are the two clips:

My brother was in the Coast Guard and he has been around the world. He said you only need to know 1 phrase of Spanish....... Dos cervezas por favor.

Sweet, I didn't even cheat! I just used my knowledge of Spanish (dos and por favor) and filled in the blank with the most crucial noun I could think of.

Thanks Yona! I didn't realize how much of that was actually just repeated lines, interesting.

I know just enough espanol to go into a bar, get drunk, get laid, and get thrown in jail. And it's usually more of the former and latter, and not so much of the middle. /sigh....mierditas.

Yes, this is an important phrase, however, here is a more important phrase to know, imo:

¿Dónde está el baño?

This simple phrase can make all the difference in the world if used on the proper occasion :haw:

Actually I believe that's 'Where is the bathroom', technically speaking I 'should' know Spanish. I can speak English at the speed of it, but the language itself escapes me. I'm a disappointment to the family! T.T

Actually I believe you missed the humor, technically speaking you 'should' know it was a joke.

There are two kind of threads on the SoD forums.

1) People throwing strings of jokes at a random situation

2) People throwing strings of insults at each other because of random situation in thread style 1

Also I believe I will watch your signature with much intensity do to the fact that you bother to put a level 6 and level 2 character in it. For some reason the futility of it intrigues me

EDIT:: Now your sig makes me sad....
