What program do you use for IRC. i had the mirc free trial and it ran out. Ive been trying out others but none seem to want to connect to #sod.

irc should still run after the trial period. Just wait a few seconds and the button releases. That is, unless it has been changed in recent versions.

Other programs include trillian, chatzilla the firefox plug in, invision, etc.
Are you connecting to www.dawntide.net (http://www.dawntide.net) using "/server www.dawntide.net" before trying to
"/join #sod"?

I got the chatzilla plugin and i tried to put in /server dawntide.net but it wont connect.

Could someone post explicit instructions for connecting to IRC for Sod using Chatzilla for Firefox. This is new to me and I'll be darned if I can figure it out. Thanks
