cant patch to update files?

Sorry I am new to eqemu. I just barely loaded EQ trilogy on my computer. The CDs are like 4 years old so I need a patch.

However, I can't do this patch until the EQEMU site says it is ok to?


I tried to patch live, then did the quickfix and ran the WR patcher and, well it didnt work. So then I noticed it said "do not patch" on the eqemu site, so I assume this is my problem right???

i did the exact same thing as you (basically) and it worked. instead of running the patcher try doing the manual download. I say this only cuz the patcher program hasn't worked for me since i start playing again about a month ago.

just make sure you follow the directions on this website and you should be fine.
